Top 5 Personal Finance Budgeting and Planning Apps in Hungary Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, Hungary's top personal finance budgeting and planning apps showed varied performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the trends for OTP Junior Next, Splitwise, Diákhitel Direkt, Money manager, expense tracker, and Mein ELBA-App.

OTP Junior Next saw a fluctuating download trend, starting with around 991 downloads in late March and peaking at 1000 downloads in the first week of April. The downloads then experienced a decline, reaching a low of 684 in late April, before stabilizing around the 800 mark towards the end of the quarter.

Splitwise demonstrated a consistent increase in both revenue and active users. The app's weekly revenue started at approximately $10 and gradually increased, peaking at $22 in mid-June. Downloads also showed a positive trend, starting from 283 in late March and rising to 874 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 1.5K to over 3K.

Diákhitel Direkt experienced a significant spike in downloads in early May, jumping from around 225 to 1.2K. This surge was short-lived, as downloads fell back to the 200-300 range for the remainder of the quarter.

Money manager, expense tracker showed a variable download pattern, with notable peaks in early May and late June, reaching 661 and 592 downloads, respectively. Revenue for this app remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $2 and $7 throughout the quarter. Active users saw a peak in late June at over 4K, despite some fluctuations.

Lastly, Mein ELBA-App maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 190 downloads per week. Active users hovered around the 10K mark, with slight increases noted in late May and mid-June.
